Notes are a convenient way for members of the team to provide updates to the team.  Based on the note's access privileges, the note could also be private and visible only to the author or the specific people on the team the author has given access to.

A common way notes are used is to summarize face-to-face meetings.  Typically these notes are posted so everyone on the team has access to them.  Notes can also be utilized by caseworkers as they travel from foster home to foster home doing home visits.  Caseworkers can utilize their phone, tap a single icon on their phone's background and enter a note using voice dictation.  They can set the access privileges so only they have access to the note.
